Job Type: Contract to Hire
Contract Length: 3 months
Target Start Date: January, 2026
Work Location/Structure: On-site (Salinas, CA)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Enterprise Operations (supporting internal functions like HR, Finance, and Operations), is looking for a skilled IT Technician and ERP Support professional to join their team for a Contract to Hire engagement. This project involves providing hands-on operational support to reduce current team workload and supporting critical business systems across the organization's various departments. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. This position is ideal for an early-career professional with foundational ERP knowledge.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine IT operational tasks including device tracking, data entry, and asset management.
- Assist with ERP (Navision/Business Central or equivalent) data maintenance, user support, and workflow updates.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripheral devices and supplies.
- Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, including account permissions and device setup.
- Support IT documentation, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation, and process standardization efforts.
- Support SharePoint list updates, Power Automate workflows, and structured data submission forms.
- Maintain accuracy of vendor records, device inventory data, and frequently updated systems.
- Assist in special projects including system migrations, process automation, and workload reduction initiatives.
- Support basic cybersecurity tasks including device compliance checks and micro-training.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Deep expertise in basic understanding of ERP systems such as Microsoft Navision, Business Central, and general knowledge of financial accounting and cost accounting. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to follow structured processes, maintain high data accuracy, and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate workflows, and strong troubleshooting skills for common hardware/software issues.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and interact professionally with end-users and staff across all company levels (management to general labor).
