About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is looking for a skilled Lab Technician
to join their team for a 6-month engagement. In this role, you will be instrumental in the assembly, integration, and testing of complex electromechanical and electronic systems. You will play a key part in bringing up new hardware, performing functional tests, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal system performance. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of optical, electrical, and mechanical lab equipment.
- Assist engineers with experiments including wafer probing, optical alignments, and electrical measurements.
- Maintain instruments, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors.
- Prepare test benches, collect and organize experimental data.
- Ensure lab safety, EH&S compliance, and proper handling of sensitive components.
- Manage rental equipment and support onboarding of new lab personnel.
