About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Technology industry, is looking for a skilled Lab Technician
to join their team for a 3-month engagement. This project involves working with cutting-edge photonics instrumentation in a new and ramping-up lab environment, focusing on environmentally friendly technology that uses light to reduce power consumption and provide scalability for AI applications. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining Photonics Instrumentation, including DCAS and OSAs.
- Utilizing Keysight and Quantify (OSA/Benchtop laser) equipment, including running scripts via their GUIs on Windows computers.
- Planning and supporting contract technicians as new lab facilities are established and ramped up.
- Executing tasks and running instruments primarily from Windows-based computers.
- Collaborating with a team to support fabrication processes.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Familiarity with Photonics Instrumentation (DCAS, OSAs).
- Experience with Keysight and OSA/Benchtop laser (Quantify) equipment, including GUI operation and script execution.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
- Experience working in a lab environment, preferably with equipment used by companies like Intel, Nvidia, and AMD.
