About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology, is looking for a skilled  Labeling Technician  to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves creating, maintaining, and validating their semantic road network data to support the integrity of their cutting-edge autonomous mapping system. This is a high-impact role that requires a detail-oriented, highly motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly, ensuring the highest standards of precision for a critical mapping system.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and maintain their semantic road network data.
  • Ensure their map content aligns with road geometry and adheres to established content requirements.
  • Validate road network data for accuracy, correctness, and consistency with real-world conditions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve mapping-related issues.
  • Meet deadlines and contribute to high-stakes company goals.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a data-intensive environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret spatial data for informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for precision.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with the project team.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
  • Background in mapping, cartography, or map content validation.
  • Prior experience in data labeling, annotation, or quality assurance.
  • Passion for autonomous vehicle technology and geospatial data.
