Job Type: Permanent
Target Start Date: ASAP
Work Location/Structure: Hybrid (3x a week onsite: Tuesday through Thursday) in Boston, NY, or DC
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Legal Services industry, is seeking a skilled Lead Marketing Technology Specialist to join their team for a permanent engagement. This is a crucial role focused on fully owning and optimizing their core experience management software, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting the firm's business development initiatives. This is a high-impact position that requires a self-motivated professional who can effectively integrate technology with strategic firm objectives in a fast-paced, social environment.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day administration of the firm's experience management system (Foundation), responsible for implementing global changes and maintaining the database to ensure the firm is leveraging the system’s full functionality.
- Defining projects to enhance existing data, refine workflows, and create operational efficiencies across the firm.
- Monitoring integrations to ensure accurate data flow across marketing automation, CRM, and the firm’s time and billing system.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to leverage automation across firm systems.
- Collaborating with the Business Development team on experience used in pitch materials, crafting thorough matter narratives, designing and exporting pitch materials, and researching/tagging clients and matters.
- Designing useful and strategic reports for the business development team.
- Collaborating with the Senior Marketing Technology Operations Manager to oversee the vendor relationship and execute product enhancements.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful engagements in a marketing technology or applications role. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of overall experience, with at least 1-2 years experience directly managing or working with Foundations and/or IKAUN.
- Deep expertise in working with experience management databases (preferably Foundation and/or IKAUN), marketing automation systems, and data mapping. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, and feel comfortable engaging with executive-level decision-makers.
- Experience with documenting key processes, workflows, and performing data analysis. SQL knowledge is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and collaborate effectively with an outgoing, highly social team across multiple departments, including a clear understanding of the legal environment.
