What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in ASC 606 revenue accounting.
- Deep expertise with NetSuite, specifically ARM (Advanced Revenue Management), to verify revenue recognition accuracy and support automation initiatives.
- Strong grasp of US GAAP accounting principles and their application to complex revenue transactions.
- Proven ability to manage the full revenue close process, maintain deferred revenue schedules, and analyze customer contracts.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with strategic big-picture thinking.
- Excellent communication skills to craft clear narratives and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with automating revenue and commissions processes, including leveraging AI.
- Knowledge of sales tax compliance and external vendor management.
- Familiarity with SSP analyses in revenue recognition.
- Prior involvement in external audit preparation and support.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in fast-paced corporate environments, comfortably juggling multiple priorities.
- Leadership or mentoring experience in a revenue accounting setting.

- The role is initially for four months with potential for contract-to-hire conversion.
