Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support national and regional congresses, including vendor oversight, logistics, and promotional material approvals.
- Manage speaker bureau operations and advisory board activities, ensuring compliance and seamless execution.
- Oversee print, digital, and omnichannel marketing initiatives, handling contracts, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Facilitate project meetings, track progress, and ensure timely delivery aligned with strategic goals.
- Coordinate sponsorship opportunities, manage application submissions, and develop relationships with industry society partners.
- Support internal teams with logistics, vendor management, and operational process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or relevant roles within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industries.
- Proven experience managing marketing activities at industry conferences, speaker bureaus, and advisory boards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing without authority.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and project management tools such as Smartsheets, Teams, and portal development platforms.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in oncology product markets.
- Support for oncology product launches in a biotech environment.
- Familiarity with Veeva marketing technology and other marketing automation tools.
- Prior experience in fast-paced, matrixed pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications related to marketing or project management are a plus.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing operations within the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors, particularly with oncology products.
