Work Location/Structure:  Mesa, Chandler, OR the Greater Phoenix Area. This role requires an active driver's license and will involve travel in a company-provided vehicle or e-bike. Must be available to work nights and weekends, with shift hours ranging from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (AM) and 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (PM), 5 days a week (8-hour shifts).

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Autonomous Delivery, is looking for a skilled  Operations Clerk  to join their team for a 4+ months engagement. This project involves executing daily operations to support last mile logistics, specifically loading orders from merchant partners into autonomous delivery robots and ensuring efficient routing and order fulfillment in the Greater Phoenix Area. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Safely driving and executing efficient route navigation between multiple merchant partners using a company vehicle or e-bike.
  • Securely loading items into autonomous delivery robots with attention to detail, ensuring packaging integrity and spill prevention for transit to customers.
  • Utilizing proprietary mobile logistics software to locate robots, unlock cargo compartments, and update order status in real-time.
  • Cleaning robot cargo areas as needed and monitoring robots for safe crossing in specific areas in the field.
  • Assisting with facilities and asset (including robot) cleaning, auditing/inventory, and other miscellaneous tasks when operations are paused or not active.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • An active driver's license (required) and the ability to support multiple locations throughout the Phoenix area.
  • Ability to navigate the Greater PHX Area comfortably.
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift objects up to 35 lbs.
  • Comfort working outside for extended periods of time and operating micro-mobility (e-bike, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and process skills and are comfortable/consistent with following a required shift schedule, including potentially evening, weekend, and/or holiday work.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
