About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in th e Autonomous Technology industry, is looking for a skilled Packaging Compliance Analyst to join their team for a 6+ month engagement. This project involves maintaining a vast information system to drive packaging and labeling compliance, requiring hands-on experience in both logistics and automotive manufacturing. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Compliance Auditing: Serving as the first line of defense for auditing packaging integrity and labeling compliance of inbound components to the warehouse, relative to established specifications.
- Data Management: Augmenting the packaging information system and correcting incomplete documentation with data, drawings, and photographs.
- Process Improvement & Analytics: Investigating and tracking incoming packaging damage, proposing ideas for improvement, and developing data-driven reporting (Dashboards) for multiple levels of management.
- Strategy & Documentation: Becoming an expert on the packaging strategy, providing information for supplier corrective actions, and assisting in documenting trial packaging success or failure.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborating with Production, Logistics, QA, and Engineering teams to implement new processes and manage changes across the supply chain.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years of industry experience in an analytical, compliance, or operations role (or an Associate's Degree in Packaging, Industrial, or Logistics Engineering).
- Deep expertise in Root Cause Analysis, Logistics operations, supply chain operations, and automotive manufacturing. High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is required. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, especially in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Experience with expendable/returnable packaging, shipping labeling, warehouse processes, and technical drawings (CAD knowledge is a plus).
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and maintain good relationships with multi-functional teams and suppliers.
