Job Title: Photonic IC Test Technician
Overview:

Required Skills:
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Prior laboratory experience working with delicate optical components and fiber-optic connections
- Demonstrated proficiency handling and cleaning micro-components and fragile fiber-optic assemblies
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safe handling of sensitive ICs and optics
- Basic computer skills to operate automated/test software in a Linux environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with semiconductor or IC socket testing
- Troubleshooting skills for lab and test equipment
- Familiarity with automated testing procedures and equipment calibration
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline
- Previous experience in a photonics or precision electronics laboratory environment
Other Requirements:
- Must report to the Mountain View office five days per week
- Ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment, maintaining safety, organization, and cleanliness
- Comfort working with delicate optical components and equipment
