About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the Autonomous Vehicle industry, is looking for a skilled PMO Processes & Tools Senior Project Manager to join their team for a 6+ month engagement. This project involves taking end-to-end responsibility for defining and rolling out new processes and tools, or making improvements to existing ones, from requirements gathering to user training and support. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading Implementation Projects: Managing the end-to-end project lifecycle for defining and deploying new PMO processes and tools, including requirements gathering, process definition and documentation, tool configuration, integration, user training, and rollout.
  • Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary point of contact between PMO, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives are aligned and a shared understanding of requirements is maintained.
  • Process Improvement: Analyzing existing program management workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and driving the implementation of process and tools improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • System Administration & Support: Serving as a subject matter expert for core PMO tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Structure, Rich Filters) and BI tools (e.g., Amazon QuickSight, Looker or similar), providing guidance, developing best practices, and creating user documentation.
  • Training & Adoption: Developing and delivering training materials to ensure the successful adoption of new tools and processes across the organization, driving user proficiency and engagement.
  • Planning, Reporting & Communication: Establishing project plans, tracking progress against milestones, identifying and managing issues and risks, and providing clear, concise status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management, with a focus on systems and tools implementation.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with enterprise-level project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Structure, or similar platforms, including leveraging data from such platforms to deliver insightful dashboards.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile product development lifecycles.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technology-related field.
