Procurement Manager

Elevate your procurement career by leading strategic sourcing initiatives and driving impactful savings in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. As a Procurement Manager, you will own end-to-end procurement processes, optimize vendor relationships, and champion platform efficiencies—all while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. This is a critical role for a high-autonomy, ownership-driven professional eager to influence company spend strategies and contribute to organizational scaling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple spend categories, including indirect, vendor, T&E, and corporate travel.
  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the Zip (P2P) platform, configuring workflows, enhancing processes, and supporting platform build-outs.
  • Manage the entire Travel & Expense program—policy, tools, compliance, and reporting—to maximize efficiency while controlling costs.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, TPRM, IT, and business stakeholders to support purchasing decisions and ensure alignment.
  • Lead complex negotiations and supplier renewal discussions, securing favorable terms and value-added terms.
  • Continuously refine procurement policies, automate processes, and improve internal controls to meet compliance standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and risk, conduct regular reviews, and resolve any quality or delivery issues.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide transparency on procurement performance to leadership.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, innovative solutions, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Educate and train employees on procurement policies, workflows, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure processes meet audit standards and prepare for SOX compliance, supporting organizational readiness for growth milestones like IPO.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a focus on indirect and/or technology spend.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with P2P platforms, specifically Zip, including configuring workflows and supporting platform rollouts.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end spend, including vendor sourcing and T&E programs.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a history of delivering measurable savings.
  • Deep understanding of procurement workflows and their integration with Finance and Accounting.
  • Expertise in developing, optimizing, and automating procurement policies and processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets, with the ability to build and interpret dashboards and KPIs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to handle daily procurement operations and long-term planning.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and training abilities, with a focus on enabling business users.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working in startup or fast-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance standards and readiness processes.
  • Additional familiarity with a variety of procurement or expense management platforms.
  • Background in supply chain management or vendor relationship management.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting platform implementations and early-stage technology companies is highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

  • Fully remote role, with PST hours preferred.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to a 3+ month contract with potential for permanent placement.
  • Comfortable engaging via video and maintaining high visibility within the organization.

Join a forward-thinking team where your procurement expertise will directly impact company growth and operational excellence. Bring your curiosity, strategic mindset, and ownership drive to this impactful opportunity.
