Procurement Operations Analyst (Contract) – Remote Opportunity

Ignite operational excellence with your expertise as a Procurement Operations Analyst, supporting a dynamic organization in redefining and streamlining its procurement processes. This pivotal role involves rebuilding and organizing the procurement documentation library, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability across all workflows. Join a fast-paced, project-based environment where your process documentation skills will directly impact efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, job aids, and process maps for procurement activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Financial Operations and procurement teams to document current processes, identify gaps, and propose enhancements.
  • Enhance the organization and consistency of the procurement documentation library.
  • Assist in supplier data remediation efforts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to translate complex workflows into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Strong experience in process improvement and operational documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills to validate and refine documentation.
  • Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Basic experience with platforms like Zip, Oracle, or similar procurement tools is advantageous.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior experience in supply chain or procurement environments.
  • Knowledge of process mapping software or documentation tools.
  • Understanding of supplier data management best practices.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, process documentation, or operations support.

Other Requirements:

  • This is a remote, project-based contract role lasting approximately 5-6 months.
  • The start date is targeted for September 28.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams.
  • Competition is open, with a streamlined interview process involving two rounds.
