Production Technician

What You’ll Do:
- Lead assigned production tasks from inception to completion, including mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assembly.
- Execute builds following detailed work instructions and manufacturing protocols.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Document progress accurately, identify blockers, and escalate issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Offer feedback to improve documentation and manufacturing processes for ongoing efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with tools and test equipment relevant to electromechanical systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Excellent documentation skills and commitment to process accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration mindset.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical school diploma, associate’s degree, or equivalent technical training preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on assembly and testing experience, ideally in a production setting.
Other Requirements:
- This role is onsite in South San Francisco and requires physical presence — remote work is not available.
- Ability to work on a 6-month assignment with potential for extension.
- Must adhere to all safety and operational protocols.
