Production Technician

As a Production Technician, you'll be at the forefront of manufacturing excellence, owning the end-to-end production process to ensure the delivery of high-quality electromechanical assemblies. This critical role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, directly contributing to the scalability and reliability of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assembly and testing
  • Complete assigned work from start to finish, adhering to approved instructions and processes
  • Document progress accurately, escalate issues promptly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers
  • Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing standards, providing feedback for continuous process improvements

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical assembly
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and craftsmanship in complex assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
  • Experience with test procedures or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to electromechanical systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly or related fields

Other Requirements:

  • Onsite position in South San Francisco
  • W2 employment only; C2C not supported
  • Immediate availability preferred for a 6-month engagement with an ASAP start date
  • Ability to work safely with high standards of craftsmanship
