Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading and managing risk programs, including supporting the deployment of a new risk tool and ensuring timely resolution of risk events to minimize operational disruption. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish, execute, and monitor clear milestones for the risk tool implementation. Additionally, the candidate develops risk mitigation and recovery strategies in response to disruptive incidents.
The role works closely with stakeholders to ensure program plans are robust and aligned with organizational objectives, facilitating the development of effective plans and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and return on investment.
Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with various teams
  • Conducting meetings to track program progress
  • Escalating issues when necessary
  • Maintaining regular communication with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Preparing detailed project reports and updates to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines
  • Meet regularly with project teams to identify solutions
  • Assign responsibilities, and hold team members accountable for delivering tasks promptly.
  • A high level of expertise in information technology (IT) is a plus and business practices is essential, alongside creativity, adaptability, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Overseeing the direction, training, mentoring, and management of project teams, tracks and communicates team performance, and establishes critical milestones.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and enhancement of the organization’s competitive advantage, coordinates activities with other departments, and fosters positive relationships with stakeholders and internal clients.
 
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong program management skills, ability to hold others accountable, and ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex risk information to diverse audiences, including senior management. 
  • Familiarity with risk management tools a plus.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a related field or work.
