About the Opportunity
Our client, a leader in Healthcare IT , is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their team for a ~2-month engagement. This project involves managing the implementation of various IT connections (network-to-network connectivity, interfaces, and workflow negotiations) and new radiologist reporting software ( RAD AI ) at a hospital. This is a high-impact role focused on covering for the incumbent PM to ensure a smooth transition toward the critical December 30th go-live date.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management & Leadership: Act as the Project Manager on the hospital side to keep all implementation tracks running smoothly and on schedule.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with both the hospital's IT and Operations teams to ensure progress toward the December 30th go-live milestone.
- Technical Implementation Management: Manage the implementation of network-to-network connectivity, interfaces, and workflow negotiations.
- Software Rollout: Oversee the implementation of the new radiologist reporting software ( RAD AI ), an early-adopter project.
- Scope Management: Manage the limited scope project with the second hospital involved in the rollout.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role.
- Required Expertise: Healthcare IT project experience is mandatory.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with hospital IT project implementations, especially those involving operational components or IT connections.
- Familiarity with Tools: Experience with project management and communication tools including Microsoft Planner , Microsoft Teams , and Jira .
- Helpful Experience: Familiarity with dictation/reporting software (like PowerScribe) and/or experience with Epic or other healthcare IT systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals and ensure successful project handoff.
