Overview:
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented quality professional ready to impact the future of mobility? We’re seeking a dynamic Quality Engineer to join a visionary team at the forefront of autonomous vehicle technology. This is your chance to collaborate across functions, influence product quality from development through deployment, and ensure every system meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and customer satisfaction. Based onsite in Miami, FL, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality landscape of next-generation transportation solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within automotive, aviation, or contract manufacturing sectors
  • Expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) or Shainin Red X
  • Proven ability to lead systemic quality improvements across complex processes and teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a strategic mindset
  • Experience managing quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
  • Proficiency with quality management or ERP systems such as SAP, MES, JIRA
  • ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt)
  • Ability to support diagnosis of NVH issues and establish inspection processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • 8+ years in manufacturing roles, with a track record of driving quality improvements in automotive or comparable industries

Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel to multiple company locations, including Austin, Atlanta, Hayward, and San Francisco, as needed
  • This is an onsite position based in Miami, FL; remote work is not available
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
