Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, preferably automotive, aviation, or contract manufacturing
- Expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) or Shainin Red X
- Proven success in driving systemic quality improvements across the production value stream
- Strong communication skills — able to clearly articulate technical results and lead issue resolution
- Ability to manage quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions effectively
- Experience supporting quality audits, NVH diagnostics, and establishing inspection processes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
- Proficiency with quality management tools and ERP systems like SAP, MES, JIRA
- Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or additional Six Sigma accreditation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience within manufacturing sectors, including automotive or aviation industries
Other Requirements:
- This position is onsite in Austin, TX, with potential travel to other company locations, including Atlanta, Hayward, and San Francisco, based on business needs.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required to support operational and quality initiatives.
- This role is available for W2 employment only.
