Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 4 to 6 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in automotive, aviation, or contract manufacturing sectors
- Proven expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) or Shainin Red X
- Experience with quality management systems and ERP tools (SAP, MES, JIRA, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and multi-task effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Automotive OEM or Tier 1 suppliers
- ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer - CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt)
- Knowledge of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) analysis and inspection processes
- Familiarity with developing PFMEA and Control Plans
- Ability to support cross-functional teams in strategic quality initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 4-6 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or aviation sectors
- Prior experience working with quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives
Other Requirements:
- This is an onsite role based in Haward, CA, with travel expected to locations such as Austin, Atlanta, and San Francisco as per business needs.
- The position is W2 only.
- Must have the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead systemic quality improvements.
