Overview:
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in manufacturing environments? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join the Receiving Quality team on a dynamic 6+ month project. This vital role supports the development and implementation of rigorous quality processes to ensure products meet strict standards, from incoming materials to finished components. Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, such as automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace.
  • Proven experience conducting quality inspections based on control plans.
  • Skilled in performing part-level quality inspections to verify specifications.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Ability to define and execute inspection criteria across a variety of parts, including injection molded, castings, 3D printed components, PCBAs, and electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in data entry into SAP and JIRA systems is a plus.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior experience using CMM for Metrology tasks.
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or electronics equipment inspection.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in industries like automotive, software, or contract manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of safety shoe standards (ASTM F 2412 / F 2413), including ESD and composite toe requirements.
  • Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or training in quality assurance is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection roles, especially involving complex parts and assemblies.

Other Requirements:

  • This position is fully onsite in Hayward, CA.
  • All safety shoes must meet ASTM F 2412 and ASTM F 2413 standards, including composite toe and ESD requirements.
  • Willingness to support process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
