Are you passionate about connecting talented individuals with impactful organizations? We're seeking a strategic and data-driven Recruiter to lead high-volume talent acquisition efforts in a mission-driven environment. In this pivotal role, you'll build pipelines, foster community relationships, and partner with hiring managers to ensure the organization attracts top-tier candidates for diverse program and infrastructure roles. Your expertise in sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment analytics will drive the success of our hiring initiatives, supporting large-scale seasonal and ongoing staffing needs across the NYC area.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting or talent sourcing, ideally in high-volume or nonprofit sectors
  • Proven track record in candidate sourcing across multiple channels (job boards, social media, community referrals)
  • Technical proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Paycom), with impeccable documentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills, utilizing recruitment metrics to optimize sourcing strategies
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within NYC for community events and hiring fairs
  • Exceptional communication and partnership-building skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with community-based recruitment and established relationships with workforce development agencies
  • Background in seasonal hiring for large-scale programs (summer, after-school)
  • Bilingual abilities or connection to diverse communities

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • This role offers remote flexibility with approximately one day per week onsite in NYC
  • Availability for occasional travel within NYC boroughs for recruiting events
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of pre-employment procedures
