About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Technology industry, is looking for a skilled Sales Compensation Operations Analyst to join their team for a 6+ Months engagement. This project involves supporting the end-to-end commissions payout process for sellers throughout the world, including assisting with commission calculation audits, sending timely data to payroll, responding to commission queries, and a heavy focus on working on team projects that will drive process improvements and analytics reporting for business partners. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring complete and accurate employee data and compensation plan detail across compensation systems.
- Assisting in Ad-hoc analysis and tracking key performance metrics monthly.
- Ensuring controls are performed for accurate payout of commissions.
- Collaborating with payroll to provide accurate and timely payments to field employees.
- Assisting with timely and accurate resolution of commissions questions/disputes from field employees.
- Assisting in the development, maintenance, and updates to systems, processes, and analytics reporting.
- Maintaining compensation-related data models, dashboards, and reporting to monitor performance and identify trends.
- Supporting audits, data validation, and ongoing process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborating with internal teams on the configuration and testing of compensation systems and tools.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2–3 years of experience in compensation, finance, sales operations, or another analytical role.
- Deep expertise in analytical and quantitative skills with a detail-oriented approach. Must be highly proficient with Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, Anaplan, and SQL. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with compensation structures or sales performance metrics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and social) required, along with the ability to create and maintain cross-functional relationships.
