SAP Data Entry Analyst
Overview
Support the accuracy and efficiency of logistics operations as an SAP Data Entry Analyst in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable inventory data, processing goods receipts, coordinating stock transfers, resolving discrepancies, and helping ensure parts are available to support production and service requirements.
You’ll serve as a key liaison between Logistics Inventory Planning, Warehouse Operations, Suppliers, Procurement, and Material Planning. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing time-sensitive data and operational requests across multiple teams and enterprise systems.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in data entry, logistics support, inventory operations, or a related field
- Proven ability to enter data quickly, accurately, and consistently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
- Experience processing goods receipts and matching purchase orders and purchase order lines
- Ability to coordinate inventory movements and stock transfer orders between locations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external partners
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional operational environment
- Experience with SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or similar enterprise systems
- Ability to review shipping documents and verify that required paperwork is complete and accurate
- Ability to follow established testing allocations, operational procedures, and data-entry guidelines
Nice to Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or another complex production environment
- Background in inventory management or materials planning
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives involving data accuracy, receiving processes, or system integration
- Familiarity with Jira requests or similar workflow-management tools
Preferred Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in data entry, logistics support, inventory operations, materials planning, or a related operational function
Other Requirements
- Work arrangement: Hybrid
- Location: Hayward, CA
- Travel of up to 10% may be required, including international travel
- W2 employment only
- Ability to support a 6-month assignment with an ASAP start date
