Security Hardening - Identity, Access & System Hardening
Join a critical initiative to strengthen organizational security by implementing a comprehensive IT security hardening program. As a key player in this project, you'll focus on elevating security standards across hundreds of applications and cloud services, ensuring the environment is resilient against evolving threats. Your expertise will help eliminate vulnerabilities such as unmanaged admin access, insecure local accounts, and inadequate logging, fostering a robust, defensible security posture.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Okta administration and identity management
- Proficiency in access governance, IGA, and just-in-time access tools (e.g., Opal or similar)
- Deep understanding of SAML, SCIM, and federation protocols
- Privileged access management and identity security best practices
- Application security hardening, including SSO enforcement, role right-sizing, and logging configuration
- Experience with SaaS administration and application onboarding to identity providers
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of SIEM integration and log validation
- Familiarity with cloud security standards and infrastructure
- Experience working alongside internal IT and security teams
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOX, audit controls, and risk management
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Several years of experience in security hardening, identity & access management, or application security
- Proven track record of managing large-scale security projects and applying standardized security procedures

- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, evidence-based environment with multiple stakeholders
- Commitment to documenting and tracking progress through tools like Jira
- Willingness to participate in an engagement involving multiple interviews and stakeholder coordination
