We are hiring a Consultant to support our growing SAAS client in San Francisco.
Hybrid – 3 days onsite Contract Length: 6+ Months
This Senior Accountant role will support the day-to-day accounting operations, fixed assets and month-end close process. This role will play an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and improving accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process , including preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining supporting documentation, and assisting with financial statement preparation.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, roll-forwards, and variance (flux) analysis to identify key financial drivers and ensure accuracy.
- Manage accounting for areas such as prepaids, fixed assets, depreciation, and software capitalization .
- Assist with external and internal audits , prepare audit schedules, and support ad hoc finance and accounting projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with strong knowledge of GAAP.
- 5+ years of general accounting/month end close experience
- Experience with NetSuite and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- SaaS or technology industry experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
