About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the online food industry, is looking for a skilled Senior Associate -Transportation/Parcel to join their team for a 5-6 months engagement. The business line you’ll be supporting is fast-growing, fast-paced, and is obsessed with efficiency. This project involves managing daily site regional operations via our 3P relationships, leading the day-to-day parcel movement across the U.S., with a focus on real-time shipment visibility, exception management, and carrier performance. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
  • Oversee daily transportation operations, including shipment monitoring, exception resolution, and carrier communication to ensure on-time performance
  • Serve as Team Lead for the Track & Trace team, guiding daily workflows, offering real-time support, and helping the team stay aligned on service priorities
  • Build and evolve SOPs and performance playbooks that drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Support, and Carrier teams to ensure seamless execution and a consistent customer experience.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
  • Successfully managed or led a team, ensuring high performance, consistency, and adherence to service levels
  • Strong focus on real-time shipment monitoring, rapid exception resolution, and effective carrier communication
  • Approach service failures with a root cause mindset and collaborate cross-functionally to drive sustainable corrective actions
  • Ability to build, implement, and evolve scalable processes in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to juggle being a critical liaison between transportation providers, customer service teams, and fulfillment centers to maintain seamless service and clear communication across the network
  • Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, and tracking data.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with TMS platforms (Turvo, Mercury Gate, or similar)
  • Experience in Zendesk or similar CX software
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Built and trained high-performing teams
