About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Technology/Security, is looking for a skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Technical Lead)  to join their team for a long-term contract engagement. This is a critical technical and leadership pivot point responsible for identifying enterprise risks and developing initiatives to mitigate them, with a specific focus on Mobile Device Management (MDM/Intune) and Privileged Access Management (PAM). This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Leadership (40-50%): Leading the implementation of key security projects, specifically MDM/Intune and PAM.
  • Supervision & Mentorship (30%): Acting as a technical mentor to junior staff, conducting one-on-ones, and ensuring the team is aligned with sprint deadlines and technical viability.
  • Security Operations & Triage (20-30%): Serving as the escalation point for security-related triage and managing/resolving alerts within Proofpoint Email Security and identity-related compromises.
  • AI Initiative: Evaluating and implementing AI applications to automate security operations and advance proactive cyber detections.
  • Documentation: Authoring security policies, standards, procedures, and runbooks to ensure compliance and "optimal safety" protocols.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 7–10+ years of IT Security experience in medium-to-large corporate environments (Non-Federal/Government background preferred for cultural adaptability).
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Email Security: Deep expertise in Proofpoint.
    • Endpoint/MDM: Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM platforms.
    • Identity & Access: Experience with PAM and Identity Security.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, acting as a proactive problem solver and exercising high-level judgment.
  • Experience with Agile/Sprint planning and creating User Stories/Test Cases.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate complex technical risks to various stakeholders with diplomacy.
  • Experience with Core Tools including Vulnerability management, EDR, SIEM/SOC, Web filtering, and Next-Gen Firewalls .
