Senior D365 Functional Consultant – Order to Cash / Subscription Billing

Role Overview
Join a forward-thinking organization as a senior D365 Functional Consultant dedicated to providing critical support during and after a major D365 go-live. You will work directly with North American finance and business stakeholders, troubleshooting complex issues, guiding process improvements, and ensuring smooth transactional flows across billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. Your deep functional knowledge and hands-on experience will help bridge the gap between global implementation teams and local operational needs, driving ongoing success during this strategic transformation.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
- Proven track record in multiple full-cycle D365 implementations
- Exceptional functional consulting skills, especially in Order-to-Cash, Subscription Billing, and Revenue Recognition
- Strong understanding of D365 transactional flows affecting billing, accounting, and compliance
- Ability to troubleshoot complex D365 scenarios and assess downstream financial impact
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working independently and supporting business users during live production environments
- Availability to work U.S. business hours, with EST preferred
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Avalara tax integration and troubleshooting tax issues
- Familiarity with Docentric, particularly invoice template configuration
- Knowledge of Salesforce or Salesforce CPQ integrations
- Experience supporting global D365 deployments
- Background in Finance Transformation initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- Extensive practical experience in finance process optimization within D365 environments
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
