Senior Financial Analyst

What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary FP&A partner supporting G&A functions including Legal, HR, Investor Relations, Business Development, Facilities, IT, and more.
- Lead budget development sessions, gather key business assumptions, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Prepare and present detailed analyses and materials for budget reviews with senior leadership, incorporating feedback to refine financial strategies.
- Support company-wide financial planning by consolidating budgets across R&D, S&M, and G&A, and preparing executive-level presentations.
- Perform advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ad hoc reporting to facilitate long-range planning.
- Maintain and support the administrative functions of Adaptive Planning, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven FP&A, corporate finance, or financial planning experience at the Senior Financial Analyst level.
- Exceptional Excel skills, including scenario modeling, complex formulas, and large dataset manipulation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable navigating complex financial systems and datasets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Public company FP&A or accounting experience.
- Experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
- Advanced certifications such as CFA or CPA.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant FP&A or finance experience.
- Prior experience supporting G&A functions in a corporate setting.

- Location: South San Francisco, hybrid setup (2-3 days on-site per week).
- Duration: 12+ months.
