  • Lead initiatives to enhance, automate, and scale financial forecasting, reporting, and planning processes while becoming a power user of our Adaptive Planning system.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, IT, and Corporate Development teams to embed AI capabilities, uncover insights, and optimize financial workflows.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analyses, synthesize findings into strategic narratives, and support senior leadership with critical decision-making insights.
  • Manage M&A financial modeling and due diligence, while owning balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
  • Oversee quarterly, annual, and long-range financial planning processes, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of progressive finance experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, including roles in Strategic Finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, including three-statement financial models.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Adaptive Planning and Oracle; strong aptitude for system mastery and automation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and identify process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues for executive audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with integrating AI into financial processes for insights and automation.
  • Knowledge of Workday, Google Workspace, or related collaboration tools.
  • Exposure to corporate development or M&A activities.
  • Ability to work in a semi-remote environment with flexibility for in-office attendance.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
  • Prior experience supporting senior leadership in a high-growth tech or SaaS organization.

Additional Requirements:

  • Location: San Francisco, CA (open to remote with a preference for Tuesdays-Thursdays in the office)
  • Start Date: August 24, 2024
  • Duration: Initial 3 months with potential extension
  • Systems Familiarity: Adaptive Planning, Workday, Google Workspace
  • Must be comfortable working in a highly autonomous, collaborative team environment and managing multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
