About the Role
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a key role in managing revenue recognition and customer invoicing for a high-growth technology organization. You’ll be hands-on in aggregating, analyzing, and reconciling data to ensure accurate revenue reporting, performing collections analysis, and partnering closely with sales and legal to maintain invoicing compliance. This is an opportunity to own critical revenue processes while contributing to IPO readiness and scaling best-in-class systems.
What You’ll Do
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with sales and legal teams to ensure proper invoicing and revenue support
- Conduct proactive outreach to resolve payment discrepancies and overdue balances
- Manage all aspects of customer invoicing—preparation, delivery, and documentation
- Prepare schedules, analyses, and documentation for ASC 606 compliance
- Support external audits through work paper preparation and audit request responses
- Drive process improvements to accelerate close timelines and improve reporting accuracy
- Contribute to IPO readiness efforts, including process documentation and SOX compliance for revenue processes
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA progress preferred
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally combining Big 4 public accounting and technology company roles
- Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills required
- Deep understanding of ASC 606
- Strong analytical and data aggregation abilities, with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this position in Sunnyvale, CA is $130,000 – $160,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
