This role offers the opportunity to work on complex financial reporting projects, including assisting with 10-K filings, drafting technical memos, and evaluating intricate transactions, all within a dynamic hybrid work environment in New York City.

Role Overview:
As a Senior SEC Reporting Consultant, you will play an integral part in supporting the company’s SEC compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely filings. Your expertise will help refine technical accounting documentation and provide critical insights into complex transactions such as infrastructure accounting and power purchase agreements. This position demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at managing multiple priorities independently and communicating complex technical information clearly to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in SEC reporting and US GAAP
  • Proven track record in 10-K preparation and SEC filings
  • Strong technical accounting research capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate complex transactions including CapEx and infrastructure projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior Big 4 consulting experience
  • Experience drafting technical accounting memos on complex issues
  • Familiarity with evaluating power purchase agreements (PPAs) and infrastructure transactions
  • Prior involvement in digital infrastructure or energy sectors

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Significant experience in SEC reporting within corporations or consultancy environments
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple technical accounting projects simultaneously

Other Requirements:

  • Location: Onsite in New York City, hybrid work model preferred
  • Travel: Minimal, as project demands
  • Certifications: CPA preferred but not mandatory
  • Background checks and compliance requirements are pending

Bring your expertise to a forward-thinking organization, contribute to impactful financial reporting, and help navigate the evolving landscape of SEC compliance.
