Contract Length: ~7 months
Pay Range: $65-75/hr
Target Start Date: March 2nd
Work Location/Structure: Hybrid - San Francisco, CA (Preferred) or Seattle, WA (Onsite 2 times/week)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in the Enterprise Software/SaaS industry, is looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join their team for a ~7 month engagement. This project involves helping build the next generation of the eSignature Core Platform, with a major focus on transforming a core application from a monolithic architecture into modern, scalable microservices. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Architecting, implementing, and maintaining high-scale, distributed services across the full stack.
- Leading the migration of a core application from a monolithic architecture to modern microservices, including re-architecting backend APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Improving engineering efficiency through best practices, testing (including Playright), automation, and CI/CD.
- Collaborating with engineers on design discussions and code reviews to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Supporting customers (approximately 20% of the role) and using data-driven insights to diagnose and solve complex problems.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience building high-scale distributed systems and developing resilient, highly available web services.
- Deep expertise in Full-stack development experience with C#, React, and/or TypeScript, and strong SQL database design (including migrations and stored procedures). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Playright, CI/CD pipelines, and a desire to work with Azure cloud.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and collaborate across functions.
