This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tool Development: Helping to build the necessary software tools for Operations teams.
- Product Strategy: Stewarding a software product line and curating its roadmap.
- Feature Management: Working closely with Design, Engineering, and Technical Program Managers to refine and prioritize features and requirements.
- Metrics Definition: Helping to define metrics that measure the health and performance of the systems.
- Product Automation (Launchpad): Leading the product development to identify and automate service start-up checks, creating requirements for engineering teams to develop, test, and release the functionality.
- Remote Management Tools: Building tools and adjusting the supervisor view to remotely manage charging and startup processes for multiple depots and robots across locations.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in product management.
- Deep expertise in product-lifecycle management and a technical background to understand software development concepts such as back-end systems, web apps APIs, and technical tradeoffs. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, with a desire to figure out how to make things better.
- Experience with driving collaboration, alignment, and affecting outcomes with influence instead of authority.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
