About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Medical Device / Healthcare Technology, is looking for a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer (SAM Module) to join their team for a part-time (10–20 hours per week) engagement. This project involves supporting the configuration, integration, and optimization of the new ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) module. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead technical configuration and development of the ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management) module.
- Design and implement workflows, business rules, integrations, and automation related to software asset lifecycle management.
- Support data normalization, reconciliation, and software discovery processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Configure dashboards, reporting, and compliance tracking capabilities for SAM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Asset Management, Procurement, Infrastructure, and Security) on platform usage and strategy.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Deep expertise in implementing or supporting ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management), with strong knowledge of Software Discovery & Normalization, Reconciliation & Compliance Reporting, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, CMDB, and ITAM data structures. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) for custom development.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and engage with technical and functional stakeholders, including availability for key meetings during EST business hours.
