About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Global Technology, is looking for a skilled Sourcing Enablement Specialist to join their team for a 1-year engagement. This project involves executing low to medium complexity sourcing projects, managing the RFx process, and applying Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) techniques to ensure the supply base meets business and commercial requirements. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary liaison with internal business customers and suppliers for sourcing projects, including managing Request for Proposal (RFP) and Supplier Business Review (SBR) activities.
- Develop, issue, and manage RFx activities, and lead commercial negotiations to ensure best value and associated cost savings.
- Apply Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) techniques to manage and monitor the supply base's performance and service levels.
- Work closely with business partners to plan and implement sourcing strategies and supplier management programs aligned with business objectives.
- Report progress weekly and ensure all agreements, service details, and payment forecasts are accurately added into procurement systems in a complete and timely manner.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Supplier Management, or Program Management in a complex, global procurement environment (Preferred).
- Deep expertise in procurement practices and techniques, Supplier Management processes, and Project Management (Stakeholder Management). This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
- Experience with Demonstrable ability in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and the ability to train and educate users in new processes.
