Senior Accountant - Temporary Fully Remote Opportunity
Join a dynamic personal care product company as a Senior Accountant, where your expertise will illuminate financial processes and support essential business functions. This immediate, short-term role is perfect for seasoned accounting professionals eager to leverage their skills in a fast-paced, fully remote environment, covering a medical leave for approximately two months.
What You’ll Do:
- Reconcile monthly e-commerce sales and ensure precise revenue recognition
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across multiple cash holding accounts
- Prepare and post monthly accruals, journal entries, and accounting adjustments
- Support system implementations, upgrades, and process enhancements
- Collaborate on month-end close activities to deliver timely, accurate financial reports
- Perform additional accounting and reconciliation tasks as needed
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in revenue and e-commerce reconciliations
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Shopify platforms
- Knowledge of UAT testing procedures is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with system integrations and process improvements
- Prior exposure to accruals and journal entries
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments
