Senior Accountant (Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage)

Role Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities, including month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Utilizing your system savvy, especially with NetSuite, Floqast, and Bill.com, you’ll ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our finance team, providing a crucial support system during a transient yet pivotal period.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in NetSuite with experience uploading journal entries
- Strong organizational skills and system troubleshooting capabilities
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets, Prepaid, and General Ledger accounting
- Ability to process invoices, credit cards, and reimbursements accurately
- Familiarity with month-end close procedures and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to internal controls
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Floqast and Bill.com
- Experience with Tax Payments, T&E Processing, and Usage-Based Prepaid Invoices
- Ability to support audits and ad-hoc reporting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, ideally supporting month-end close and financial reporting for 2+ years
Other Requirements:
- Fully remote work environment; no travel required
- This contract position runs approximately from now until mid-January, typically 2-3 months
- Must demonstrate proficiency with multiple systems and be capable of quickly learning and adapting to internal processes
