About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in enterprise search and data analytics solutions, is looking for a skilled Sr. BSA - ServiceNow to join their team for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement. This project involves supporting and evolving their enterprise SaaS systems, with a strong emphasis on the ServiceNow platform. The role is critical for translating complex business needs into clear functional requirements and supporting initiatives end-to-end. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly, with opportunity for growth for a well-versed candidate.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Translating complex business needs into clear functional requirements and detailed process mapping documentation.
- Providing hands-on support and driving improvements for modules within ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM/HRSD/CSM) or comparable ITSM platforms.
- Supporting initiatives end-to-end: from requirements gathering and design through delivery, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and enablement.
- Working with and supporting systems across domains such as Incident/Problem/Change Management, Asset & CMDB, and Service Catalog/Request workflows.
- Identifying and defining workflow automation, integration points, and cross-system dependencies.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (or similar) supporting enterprise SaaS systems.
- Deep, hands-on experience with ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM/HRSD/CSM) or comparable ITSM platforms. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert in the platform.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, with a strong ownership and accountability mindset.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
- Experience with at least several of the following domains: Incident / Problem / Change Management, Asset & CMDB, Service Catalog / Request workflows, ITOM discovery/automation, HRSD, or CSM.
- Strong communication skills to articulate process flows, dependencies, and functional reasoning effectively.
