Required Skills:
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., Precanto, NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of SaaS or high-tech industry financial dynamics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level engagement
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Leadership skills with a track record of fostering high-performance teams (even in an individual contributor role)
- Deep familiarity with AI tools in financial modeling and analysis (Claude or equivalent)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with M&A activities and fundraising support
- Knowledge of additional AI-driven analytics tools and platforms
- Multilingual abilities or international market experience
- Prior experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field — MBA or CFA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant FP&A experience, specifically in high-growth SaaS or tech organizations
Other Requirements:
- Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area; this role requires presence on-site in Downtown San Jose on Monday through Wednesday
- Immediate availability preferred for a contract role starting 08/24, with potential for conversion
- Willingness to engage extensively with AI tools for modeling and analysis
- This position may involve limited travel and requires strong collaboration with executive leadership
