Overview
Are you a passionate software engineering expert looking to lead innovative development initiatives on the East Coast? We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Sr. / Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure. Required Skills

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on C# and .NET / .NET Core
  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, debugging, and maintaining production-grade applications
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, service-oriented design, and API development
  • Extensive experience with automated testing strategies including unit, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing
  • Hands-on experience working within Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including troubleshooting cloud-based applications
  • Advanced skills with Git, pull requests, and code review practices
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, promoting best practices and technical excellence
  • Ability to remain deeply involved in coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across complex systems
  • Experience reviewing and refactoring code written by other engineers
  • Practical experience with AI code generation tools, especially Claude and Claude Code, including establishing standards for their use and evaluating AI-generated code

Nice to Have Skills

  • Embedded or kiosk application development, especially on dedicated devices or edge environments
  • Hardware/software integration experience with peripherals like printers, scanners, and payment devices
  • Knowledge of device communication, connectivity, and troubleshooting for fleets of physical hardware
  • Familiarity with scenarios involving constrained or intermittently connected environments

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in building, supporting, and optimizing service-based applications and APIs
  • Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams in agile development environments

  • Location: East Coast-based, with options for remote work
  • Must be comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments where collaboration and technical leadership are essential
  • Enthusiastic about AI-assisted development and committed to maintaining high standards of software quality and discipline
