Sr. Manager, International Payroll

As the Sr. Manager of International Payroll, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's worldwide expansion efforts by overseeing payroll operations across multiple countries. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to shape international payroll processes, implement new country setups, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless compliance and accuracy across EMEA and APAC regions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Executing international payroll for over 15 countries in EMEA and APAC.
- Reviewing payroll workbooks and reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Leading payroll projects during global expansion, working closely with HR, Benefits, Legal, and Tax teams.
- Supporting the processing of equity transactions in accordance with local country requirements.
- Managing payroll systems, specifically Workday, to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with global payroll processing, especially across EMEA and APAC.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll.
- Proven ability to set up payroll systems in multiple new countries.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and outsourcing partners.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with international tax compliance and legal considerations.
- Familiarity with payroll in non-profit organizations.
- Knowledge of equity transaction processing.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of payroll management experience, ideally in a global or multi-country environment.
- Prior experience supporting international payroll expansion projects.
