Senior Payroll Analyst

Join a dynamic global organization as a Senior Payroll Analyst and be a vital part of maintaining reliable, compliant, and scalable payroll operations across multiple countries. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with innovative systems and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will partner with payroll, HR, finance, and external vendors to optimize payroll processes, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvements on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support troubleshooting of payroll issues by investigating root causes, coordinating with stakeholders, and documenting findings.
  • Assist with payroll system configuration, testing, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with providers such as Workday, CloudPay, and ADP to ensure accurate and timely payroll service delivery.
  • Maintain detailed payroll documentation, process maps, and controls.
  • Analyze payroll data and trends to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support compliance, audit activities, and cross-region payroll processes.
  • Participate in vendor governance, project updates, and global payroll initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll, HR operations, or related analytical functions.
  • Hands-on support experience with global payroll systems and providers, particularly Workday, CloudPay, or ADP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working across different systems, vendors, and time zones.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience supporting payroll implementations, migrations, or system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of payroll reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with global payroll compliance and country-specific requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms.
  • Payroll certification or progress toward professional credentials.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Practical experience supporting multi-country payroll operations and vendor management.

Other Requirements:

  • This is a fully remote position.
  • Ability to quickly ramp, operate autonomously, and take ownership of work.
  • Willingness to support global payroll coverage as needed.
