Senior Revenue Accountant/Manager

As a Senior Revenue Accountant/Manager, you will leverage your expertise to maintain compliance with GAAP standards and contribute to the company’s financial excellence. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge ecommerce systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly sales allowance accruals, account reconciliations, and related accounting entries
- Assist with ecommerce reconciliations, resolving variances with Shopify, TikTok Shop, and Blue Onion systems
- Partner with Sales teams to develop retailer-specific estimates for allowances, including markdowns
- Conduct quarterly lag analysis and rate analysis for general reserves
- Review new customer contracts and perform monthly reporting for sales teams
- Monitor and review allowances and deductions, ensuring process improvements
- Support audit processes and maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal controls
- Contribute to month-end close procedures and other related duties as needed
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Proven experience in ecommerce accounting and reconciliations
- Proficiency with NetSuite and Shopify (must-have)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate across teams
- Ability to implement process improvements efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with TikTok Shop and Blue Onion systems
- B2B revenue experience
- Familiarity with financial systems like Business Objects and Advanced Excel
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years in revenue accounting or finance roles within ecommerce or retail sectors
- Prior experience supporting month-end close, audits, and compliance activities
