Senior Tax Analyst

Join a forward-thinking organization as a Senior Tax Analyst and play a pivotal role in supporting U.S. tax operations. Under the guidance of the Tax Director, you will lead initiatives related to both direct and indirect tax compliance, accounting, and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence in a dynamic, fully remote environment. Your expertise will help maintain compliance, optimize tax positions, and contribute to effective financial reporting, making a tangible impact on the company's strategic growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support U.S. income tax compliance and tax accounting processes
  • Prepare schedules supporting federal, state, and international tax filings
  • Research and respond to tax authority notices and inquiries
  • Conduct tax research and document conclusions on complex issues
  • Support audits and special projects with thorough analysis and documentation
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and run compliance reports

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations, including international tax rules
  • Experience with tax compliance, accounting, and reporting activities
  • Proficiency in software tools such as NetSuite and Suretax
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with G Suite/Google Sheets
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a self-starter attitude

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with tax research and responding to tax authority notices
  • Familiarity with other tax software platforms or financial systems
  • Prior involvement in audit support or tax position optimization

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant tax analysis experience in a corporate or professional services setting

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
