Overview
As a Strategic Finance Senior Analyst, you will be central to shaping the financial and strategic future of a rapidly growing organization. Your insights will inform go-to-market strategies, optimize resource allocation, and support long-term planning efforts. With a focus on building automated, AI-enhanced financial models and analytics, you'll help scale the business while fostering a culture of curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact the company’s growth trajectory and operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or business operations.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, including translating complex business drivers into clear, actionable frameworks.
  • Strong experience with adaptive systems like Adaptive, enterprise tools such as Claude, and BI tools like Omni, SQL, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to develop and own revenue and opex models to measure and set business goals.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a passion for leveraging AI and automation in financial processes.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives when answers are not straightforward and can identify issues before they surface.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting data-driven insights to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, with a bias for action and a deep curiosity for understanding complex challenges.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience working with consumption-based business models.
  • Background in AI development, automation workflows, or machine learning integration.
  • Familiarity with additional analytics tools and platforms such as Lovable or other BI systems.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Professional experience in high-growth tech companies or innovative finance teams.

Other Requirements

  • Location: San Francisco, hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite weekly).
  • Duration: 3-month engagement with potential to convert to a full-time role.
  • Start Date: 09/21.
