Technical Program Manager, Site Implementations
Overview
Lead complex, high-impact technology implementations that bring integrated parking solutions to life at new and existing sites. As the Technical Program Manager, you will own each deployment from discovery and kickoff through design, permitting, installation, software configuration, testing, go-live, stabilization, and operational handoff.
This role brings together software, customer-facing hardware, networking, construction, vendors, field teams, and customer operations. You will establish repeatable implementation standards, coordinate cross-functional delivery, manage site readiness, and ensure each launch meets approved scope, quality standards, acceptance criteria, and operational requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Demonstrated ownership of multiple site deployments from initial planning through go-live.
- Experience managing:
- Permitting and inspections
- Construction and site-readiness dependencies
- Vendor schedules and contractor commitments
- Procurement, shipping, and equipment installation
- Quality assurance and customer acceptance
- Strong working knowledge of software delivery, integrations, defect management, release readiness, and production support.
- Ability to interpret implementation plans, site drawings, technical requirements, test results, and project financial information well enough to identify gaps and drive decisions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, risk management, and executive status-reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate internal teams, customers, hardware vendors, software teams, utilities, permitting authorities, construction partners, low-voltage contractors, and field installers.
- Experience managing risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, scope changes, budget impacts, dependencies, and recovery plans.
- Ability to coordinate functional testing, integration testing, field acceptance testing, user acceptance testing, defect remediation, launch approval, and post-launch support.
- Ability to travel regularly to implementation sites and support critical milestones outside normal business hours when required.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience

- Experience with Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems.
- Familiarity with payment systems, license plate recognition, parking guidance, enforcement, mobile applications, or revenue optimization products.
- Experience supporting implementations at municipalities, hospitals, hotels, universities, mixed-use properties, airports, or other active customer sites.
- Project or program management certification.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or comparable project and program management tools.
Preferred Education and Experience

- Preferred experience: Five or more years leading complex, multi-site technology implementations that combine software, hardware, networking, vendors, and physical site work.
Other Requirements
- Regular travel to implementation sites is required.
- This is a field-oriented implementation role involving active customer sites, installation environments, and coordination with construction, electrical, low-voltage, utility, permitting, and field service partners.
- Availability to support critical implementation milestones outside normal business hours may be required.
- The successful candidate will be expected to establish and continuously improve implementation playbooks, including stage gates, deliverables, decision rights, quality standards, escalation paths, and launch criteria.
- Responsibilities include coordinating cutover and go-live plans, confirming training and support readiness, completing operational handoff documentation, and using post-launch findings to improve future implementations.
