About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology and robotics, is looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager - Autonomy  to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves supporting the Autonomy team in delivering critical improvements across core functions like Perception, Prediction & Behavioral ML, Planning & Controls, and Mapping. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Partnering with engineering managers and functional leads to translate high-level project goals into actionable roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Driving execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives independently, focusing on improving autonomous driving behavior.
  • Proactively identifying program risks and building mitigation plans with cross-functional teams.
  • Standardizing autonomy frameworks and automating program processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Driving Autonomy software and Mapping content releases by partnering with engineering and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 6+ years of program management experience, with a focus on software development.
  • Deep expertise in leading complex, cross-functional projects independently. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Experience in AI/ML, autonomous vehicles, robotics, or automotive/aerospace processes is highly desired.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to create executive-facing status updates.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts, JIRA, Smartsheet, risk matrix).
