About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the Technology industry, is looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager to join their team for a 6+ month engagement. This project involves building and improving software risk and deviation programs. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Program/Project Management:
    • Organizing and scheduling project activities.
    • Monitoring project status and ensuring timely responses from team members, with a focus on collecting corrective action and implementation evidence from the engineering team.
    • Assessing and tracking Jira tickets and ensuring all evidence is uploaded in JIRA or Hyperproof (GRC tool).
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams located mainly in North America (PST and EST) and in India (IST), with some meetings potentially scheduled to be IST time zone friendly.
  • Software Risk Management:
    • Working closely with the Risk Management team and cross-functional teams (engineering, IT-GRC, legal, and privacy) to identify, assess, manage, assist, and track project risks.
    • Defining and documenting risk management programs and identifying potential program improvements.
    • Assisting in quarterly security management review and board meetings.
  • Hardware Regulatory Compliance (Bonus):
    • Working closely with the HW Compliance Manager to ensure hardware platforms comply with relevant regulatory standards (CE, CB, EMC testing, reporting, or certifications).
    • Maintaining comprehensive records of compliance activities and certifications.
    • Collaborating with Platform engineering, Supply Chain Operations, and manufacturing partners during NPI development stages.
    • Providing guidance and support to teams and customers on compliance-related matters.
Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Risk Management Program.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in engineering or software products, preferably in the ICT industry.
  • Strong PMP skills are a must.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills and proficiency in Smartsheet strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
